The new Broadway production of Gigi, Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's beloved Oscar and Tony Award-winning musical comedy, begins performances tomorrow night, Thursday, March 19. The production will open on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street).

Vanessa Hudgens stopped by this morning's GOOD MORNING AMERICA to talk about making her Broadway debut in GIGI. The actress later performed the number 'Parisians' from the Broadway-bound musical.

ABC has announced that TODAY, MARCH 11, actress Vanessa Hudgens star of Broadway's GIGI, will appear on GOOD MORNING AMERICA.

Vanessa Hudgens, Tony Award-winner Victoria Clark, Corey Cott and the cast of the new Broadway production of Gigi will perform "The Night They Invented Champagne" tomorrow, Wednesday, March 11 on ABC's "Good Morning America" during the 8:30-9:00 AM half hour (ET). "Good Morning America" airs locally on WABC-TV Channel 7. Check local listings.

The national tour of the Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, inspired by the electrifying true story, will return to Detroit's Fisher Theatre for a limited four-performance, three-day engagement this weekend, March 6 - 8.

New York City Ballet principal dancer Tiler Peck will step into the role of 'Ivy Smith' in the new Broadway revival of On The Town this March for six performances only, while her fellow New York City Ballet principal dancer, and sister-in law, Megan Fairchild is on vacation. Peck will play the role at the following performances: March 3rd at 7pm, March 4th at 2pm and 8pm, March 14th at 2pm and 8pm, and March 15th at 3pm.

The new Broadway revival of On The Town was recorded in November 2014 for a two-disc cast album to be released by PS Classics. On The Town, which features a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, music by Leonard Bernstein, and is based on an idea by Jerome Robbins, is currently running at Broadway's Lyric Theatre (213 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036). While it is certainly a fact that on December 4, 1956, Sun Records was host to an incredible gathering of talent (Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis), a listen to the actual recordings made that day were more along the lines of favorite folk and gospel numbers that the four shared in common. And though some of that does come through, the stage musical, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, utilizes this historic meeting as a jumping off point for an evening of truly classic rock and roll, with some other more reverent material sprinkled in for good measure. But honestly, a faithful recreation of the truth would be a bit of a letdown to most fans, so instead we're treated to a re-imagining that might bend the truth a bit (book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux), but only in the quest to give audiences a glimpse at what could have been.

The Vineyard Theatre announced today that due to demand the world premiere of the original musical BROOKLYNITE will extend its limited engagement by one week and will now run through Sunday, March 29. Helmed by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer (HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, SPRING AWAKENING), BROOKLYNITE opened on Wednesday, February 25.
