If you had the chance to apologize for something you did that ruined another person's life would you? What if that thing was part of what you were expected to do for your job? These questions and other dilemmas lie at the heart of InterAct Theatre Company's second show of its 25th Anniversary Season. Assassin by local playwright David Robson, a co-production with Act II Playhouse, takes an intimate look at hero worship, regret and forgiveness while examining America's fascination with sports violence. With recent media attention being paid to football related injuries, past and present, Assassin is particularly relevant.

Signal Ensemble Theatre opens the new year with the second production in their Tenth Anniversary 2012-2013 season, the world premiere of Successors, January 26 - March 2, 2013 at Signal Ensemble Theatre, 1802 West Berenice Ave. Successors is written by Signal Ensemble member Jon Steinhagen and is directed by Signal Ensemble member and Co-Artistic Director Ronan Marra. Performances will regularly run Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Preview performances are on Thursday, Jan. 24 and Friday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m., followed by opening/press night on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. Regular ticket prices are $20 for single tickets, $15 for industry/students/seniors/groups and $10 for previews. William Greaves Receives 2012 Paul Robeson Award

Actors' Equity Association announced today that Emmy-Award winning director/producer and writer William Greaves is the recipient of the 2012 Paul Robeson Award. Created in 1971, the Award recognizes a person who best exemplifies the principles by which Mr. Robeson lived. The award will be presented to Mr. Greaves at the October 12 Eastern Regional Membership Meeting at the Union's headquarters in New York City.
