This success is largely due to the unprecedented advance sales of our annual 6-week musical theatre talent competition LA's Next Great Stage Star 2011, and a series of spectacular debuts by such outstanding Broadway/Nightclub headliners as Nita Whitaker, Jason Graae, Maxine Lapiduss, and Suzanne Petrela. Ordway Center for the Performing Arts today unveiled its 2011-2012 performance season. The diverse schedule will offer a full menu of entertaining experiences, from dinner with The Addams Family to the amusingly intimate car ride during a blind date, and transport audiences from the streets of Africa to the darkened stage of a Parisian opera house.

William Atherton, Matt Cavenaugh, Lisa O'Hare, Millicent Martin and Jason Graae are the acclaimed film, Broadway and West End stars who will lead the cast of Reprise Theatre Company's second production of the 2010-2011 season, 'Gigi', playing February 15 to February 27, 2011 (press opening February 16, 2011) at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. The musical - with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe -- will be directed by veteran musical theatre director David Lee, with choreography by Peggy Hickey and musical direction by Steve Orich.

According to an Equity casting notice, FINDING NEVERLAND will have a New York City reading May 24-31, and will feature direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Rob Ashford. Auditions for the project will be held by Tara Rubin Casting on February 23-24 for the roles of Peter, George, Jack, and Michael.

The Juilliard String Quartet, one of the world's great cultural treasures, was honored by The Recording Academy's National Board of Trustees with its Lifetime Achievement Award, which acknowledges lifelong artistic contributions to the recording medium. The Juilliard String Quartet is the first classical ensemble to receive this award, and only the 21st classical artist to be so honored by The Recording Academy.
