Broadway's top musical artists are set to appear on tonight's (June 21st) telecast of 'Maya & Marty' on NBC to perform 'What the World Needs Now Is Love,' an updated version of the classic Burt Bacharach/Hal David song that is helping to support the devastated LGBT community of Orlando, Fla. A slew of stage vets rehearsed the song earlier today, and Seth Rudetsky captured a sneak preview.

Broadway's top musical artists are set to appear on NBC's Tuesday, June 21 telecast of 'Maya & Marty' to perform 'What the World Needs Now Is Love,' an updated version of the classic Burt Bacharach/Hal David song that is helping to support the devastated LGBT community of Orlando, Fla.

The Actors Fund recognized its 2016 Medal of Honor recipients at its annual gala, last night, April 25, 2016 (6pm) at the Marriott Marquis. Honorees included actor and producer Michael Douglas, producer and singer/songwriter Emilio and Gloria Estefan, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt, American prima ballerina Cynthia Gregory, and director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw. Broadway's new musical comedy DISASTER!, directed by Jack Plotnick with a book by three-time Emmy Award nominee and Grammy Award nominee Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, officially opened last night, March 8, 2016, for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 3, 2016. Broadway stars Kelli O'Hara, Judy Kuhn, Anika Larsen, Hunter Bell, Jeff Bowen, Chip Zien and Marc Shaiman who are featured in the book performed excerpts and some of Seth's favorite songs. 'Midtown March Medley,' as the series is called, will feature a comedy musical act, a two-hander, a caper and a family drama. There's plenty of classical music, comedy, incest, strokes and murder.
