Broadway's top musical artists are set to appear on tonight's (June 21st) telecast of 'Maya & Marty' on NBC to perform 'What the World Needs Now Is Love,' an updated version of the classic Burt Bacharach/Hal David song that is helping to support the devastated LGBT community of Orlando, Fla. A slew of stage vets rehearsed the song earlier today, and Seth Rudetsky captured a sneak preview.

Honorees included actor and producer Michael Douglas, producer and singer/songwriter Emilio and Gloria Estefan, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt, American prima ballerina Cynthia Gregory, and director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw. To kick off the release of famed Sirius XM radio host Seth Rudetsky new book Seth's Broadway Diary, Dress Circle Publishing (Brisa Trinchero and Roberta Pereira, founders) hosted a special book launch concert event last night at Don't Tell Mama (343 W 46th St). Broadway stars Kelli O'Hara, Judy Kuhn, Anika Larsen, Hunter Bell, Jeff Bowen, Chip Zien and Marc Shaiman who are featured in the book performed excerpts and some of Seth's favorite songs. 'Midtown March Medley,' as the series is called, will feature a comedy musical act, a two-hander, a caper and a family drama. There's plenty of classical music, comedy, incest, strokes and murder. As Seth and James say, 'Something for everyone!'
