The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announces the gift of the Abe and Charlotte Levitow Collection featuring animation art and related production materials documenting the career of animator Abe Levitow.

Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) has announced the 2013 holiday show as Meet Me in St. Louis: A Live Radio Play, set in a similar fashion as last year's Bucks County holiday show It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. Performances run from Wednesday, December 4th through Sunday, December 29th at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street in New Hope, PA). The cast will be announced shortly.

Samantha Carlson will be appearing with Scot Albertson at Parnell's on Saturday, July 27, 2013, from 8-11 p.m. With Pianist Lucy Galliher.

Tony Award winner Richard Easton, Liz Larsen, Steve Vinovich, and Glory Crampton are set to star in The Peccadillo Theater Company's upcoming staged reading of Moss Hart's 1948 play LIGHT UP THE SKY Monday, July 29th at 7 PM at Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 West 46th Street (between Ninth & Tenth Ave.)

Deadline.com reports that Tony nominee Tammy Blanchard is in talks to join Rob Marshall's movie adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's musical INTO THE WOODS for Disney. She would play the role of 'Florinda', one of Cinderella's stepsisters, alongside Lucy Punch as the other sister, and Christine Baranski as the evil stepmother.

Aria Entertainment in association with Goldstone has announced the launch of the new show Divas Through the Decades which will launch at London's Ashcroft Theatre on 18th October 2013. Divas Through the Decades is a celebration of female music legends; from Judy Garland to Etta James, Adele to Beyonce and beyond! It is a feel-good show performed by a group of wonderful singers. It's time for a return to Oz as Moonlight Stage Productions' 33rd summer season, the first planned by new Artistic Director Steven Glaudini, continues with the family classic THE WIZARD OF OZ, with performances from tonight, July 24 to August 10. THE WIZARD OF OZ is presented by Moonlight for the first time as an adult production, with adult actors in the leading roles of the Royal Shakespeare Company version. Profiles in History, run by Joe Maddalena, is proud to announce that a collection of iconic cultural memorabilia will be up for sale at their Hollywood Auction, July 28th and July 29th in Los Angeles. Also of important note, Profiles in History's Milton Greene Collection auction is this Saturday, July 27th. It will have over 75,000 photographs and negatives, of those, 4,000 are Marilyn Monroe, all going with copyright. Lindsay Mendez has taken New York by storm over the past two years. She has received critical acclaim for her role as Rose in DOGFIGHT, and is currently starring in WICKED at the Gershwin Theater. That's just her day job, as Mendez recently released the album THIS TIME with her music partner Marco Paguia.
