Bay Area Cabaret audiences will get a first look at the national tour concert ADAM & ANTHONY LIVE starring Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp. After 15 years of friendship and co-starring roles in Jonathan Larsen's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Rent, these two iconic Broadway stars are coming together to bring fans what they've been waiting for: an up-close-and-personal concert featuring their individual work as well as fan-favorite numbers from the production that rocketed them to international stardom. The concert plays one night only 7pm, Sunday, November 21, 2010 in the Venetian Room of the Fairmont San Francisco. After Jimmy and Kathryn learn that the dentist was doing more than just fixing teeth, they become entangled in lies of their own with Kathryn's mother and Jimmy's ex-wife. ACT's Mainstage season continues with the Seattle premiere of David Rambo's irresistible portrait of renowned advice columnist Ann Landers in THE LADY WITH ALL THE ANSWERS, Friday, September 10th to Sunday, October 31st. Tony Award-winner Judith Ivey teams up again with Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein, the director of her Lucille Lortel Award winning performance in The Glass Menagerie, for the hit comedy Shirley Valentine by Willy Russell, on Long Wharf Theatre's Stage II from Dec. 2 through Jan. 2.

For many, Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie remains his finest play. Semi-autobiographical, the play takes place in St. Louis during the Depression and depicts the relationships between a restless alcoholic factory worker, wannabe writer, his overbearing mother and his psychologically deficient sister - all of which stems from Williams' actual background.

A fresh new interpretation of classic 'The Glass Menagerie,' Tennessee Williams' compelling saga of the Wingfield family in the 1940s and their struggle with illusion and reality. Tom, the son, is torn between his role as the family breadwinner and his desire to lead a life of his own; his mother, Amanda (played by Tony Award-winning Judith Ivey), is a former Southern belle trying to maintain her dignity and her control in the gloom of their St. Louis tenement; and Laura, his frail sister, has retreated to an imaginary world caring for her collection of glass animals. Into their lives comes Jim, the Gentleman Caller, who changes the family forever.

A fresh interpretation of Tennessee Williams' haunting memory play 'The Glass Menagerie' opens at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum at the Los Angeles Music Center on Sunday, September 12 at 7 p.m. Previews are currently underway and performances continue through October 17, 2010.
