Forget superheroes, forget superstars, last summer's biggest hit was Syfy's 'Sharknado,' and this summer they are doubling down on the cult hit with 'Sharknado 2: The Second One.' This time, New York City is besieged by the illogical natural disaster. 'Sharknado 2' airs tonight at 9:00 pm on Syfy. Recently BroadwayWorld TV took part in a conference call with stars, Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Vivica A. FOX and director Anthony C. Ferrante. From the eagerly anticipated premiere of Sharknado 2: The Second One (July 30), Roger Corman's Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda (August 2) and Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark (July 26) to the greatest moments in shark film history, Syfy viewers will be swimming with fin-tastic special programming during the channel's first ever Sharknado Week, airing today, July 26 through Saturday, August 2.

UP Comedy Club is known for bringing the best stand-up comedy talent in the country to Chicago. This fall's line-up features many of the best-known names in comedy, including UP favorites Kyle Kinane and Greg Proops, returning to the UP stage once again after countless sold-out shows. Also returning to UP are Nick Thune, Moshe Kasher and Dana Gould. Multiple Emmy Award winner Hank Azaria (THE SIMPSONS) has been cast as BUD BUCKWALD, the lead voice role on BORDERTOWN, the new animated comedy from FAMILY GUY's Mark Hentemann and Seth MacFarlane. Producer John Johnson has announced today that Grantland's Men in Blazers will host Men in Blazers: Live on Broadway, an evening to celebrate everything that is glorious and distinct about United States Soccer on Friday, May 30th at 7:30PM at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street). QWEIRDO! is a recurring showcase of Chicago's top gay comedians and improvisers coming together on Sundays to make you laugh in the way that only your gay best friend (or a drunk Jessica Lange) can. The anchor improv team is 'ThoraBirch' featuring Drew Anderson, Thom Gaughan, and Derek Van Barham. They will invite different gay groups and solo acts to perform with them each Sunday.
