The new Broadway production of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's beloved Oscar and Tony Award-winning film and stage musical, Gigi, began its pre-Broadway engagement in the Eisenhower Theater at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. on January 16 and closes today, February 12, 2015. Gigi will open on Broadway in spring 2015 following the D.C. engagement.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, concludes its 40th Anniversary Season with the New York premiere of the new musical, Cagney, with book by Peter Colley and music & lyrics by Robert Creighton and Christopher McGovern. Bill Castellino is set to direct with choreography by Joshua Bergasse. Broadway veteran Robert Creighton stars as James Cagney who will lead a cast of six in this exciting new musical. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Today we are talking to one of Broadway's best baritones all about his accomplished career in musical theatre that began nearly 20 years ago with a memorable turn in MISS SAIGON, the thoughtful and debonair Matt Bogart.
