American actress and three-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep will be Jury President of the 66th Berlin International Film Festival.

The 51st Chicago International Film Festival, presented by Cinema/Chicago, will honor acclaimed composer and orchestrator Howard Shore in recognition of his contributions to film and television with a tribute and award ceremony on Sunday, October 18, 2015. Howard Shore is one of the most versatile, talented, and respected composers and music conductors working today. He has collaborated with such prominent directors as Martin Scorsese, Jonathan Demme, Tim Burton, David Fincher, Arnaud Desplechin, and David Cronenberg, among numerous others. Shore's work on Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy was recognized with three Academy Awards, two Golden Globes and many other honors.

In preparation for the role, the actress met up with legendary guitarist Neil Young for an impromptu lesson at the recording studio of New York City's Jacob Burns Film Center.

Despite under-written characters and story, the movie succeeds on the strength of a stellar cast doing their absolute best to draw nuanced characterizations out Cody's surprisingly bare-bones script.

Labyrinth Theater Company presents the world premiere of Melissa Ross's Nice Girl. The production, now through June 7, reunites the Labyrinth Theater Company member with director Mimi O'Donnell, who worked together on the 2011 production of Thinner Than Water. Thinner Than Water marked both the playwriting debut of Ross and the directorial debut of O'Donnell.
