Dorothy Berwin, Mark Lee and Tom Kirdahy are pleased to announce the inaugural winners of the first annual Berwin Lee Playwrights Award. The Berwin Lee Award was created to foster and promote the craft of playwriting in both the United States and the United Kingdom and to encourage the writing and production of plays.

The Drama League (Executive Director, Gabriel Shanks) has announced the 2013 Drama League Awards Nominees for Distinguished Play, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and Distinguished Performance Award. ACT Announces Extension for BLACK WATCH

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Artistic Director Carey Perloff announced today that their highly anticipated production of the National Theatre of Scotland's internationally acclaimed production of Black Watch has extended its run at The Drill Court at the Armory Community Center (333 14th Street, between Mission and Valencia) through Sunday, June 16. The production was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, June 9. Tickets for all performances are on sale now and may be purchased online at act-sf.org or by calling 415.749.2228.

DOCTOR WHO's Arthur Darvill and Joanna Christie to Join Broadway's ONCE Tomorrow

Arthur Darvill and Joanna Christie will make their Broadway debuts starring in the 8-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical ONCE at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre beginning Tuesday, April 23rd. The actors will take over from the temporary leads Ben Hope and Laura Dreyfuss, who, as planned and scheduled, will resume being standbys for 'Guy' and 'Girl.'

Direct from sold-out engagements at The National Theatre of Scotland and the Lincoln Center Festival, this acclaimed one-man interpretation of Macbeth, starring Alan Cumming, will play a strictly limited 73-performance engagement at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Preview performances began on Sunday, April 7 (7 p.m.) with an official Opening Night on Sunday, April 21 (6 p.m.). The Broadway run will conclude on Sunday, June 30.
