TIME STANDS STILL, the acclaimed play by Donald Margulies (Collected Stories), must end its twice extended engagement at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) Saturday, March 27 following the 8 PM performance. On that date, the production will have played 27 preview performances and 68 regular performances.

The limited run has only 4 weeks left before it must end on Sunday, April 4. The American Theatre Wing announced today that the 2010 Jonathan Larson® Grants will be presented on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the American Airlines Theatre (227 W 42nd Street, 5th Floor) in New York City. This year, Peter Lerman, Daniel Mate, and songwriting team Michael Kooman (music) and Christopher Dimond (book & lyrics) were selected to receive the prestigious grants, totaling $10,000. The evening will include special performances of the recipients' work by Brian d'Arcy James, Kerry Butler and Brad Bass, John Eric Parker, and Ephraim Sykes from Memphis will perform a rarely heard Jonathan Larson song.

Due to the timing of the start of LEND ME A TENOR's preview performances and director Stanley Tucci's travel to and from The Academy Awards, the producers of the comedy said today that performances will now begin on March 12, one day later than previously announced. Mr. Tucci has been nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in 'The Lovely Bones.' Ticketholders for March 11 may exchange or return those tickets at the point of purchase.

The New York Times is reporting that the Classic Stage Company's critically-acclaimed production of VENUS IN FUR, a new play by David Ives and directed by Walter Bobbie, may be headed to the Great White Way. Featuring Nina Arianda and Wes Bentley, the production has received two extension off-Broadway and will now run through Sunday, March 28. VENUS IN FUR has now become the longest-running production in CSC's 42 year history.
