Harry Melling, best known for playing Dudley Dursley in five of the Harry Potter films, is to play Christopher Isherwood in I am a Camera, which will run in a three-week season at The Vault at Southwark Playhouse, in London from Wednesday September 5 - Saturday September 22. The stars were out this week at 54 Below. Stars ranging from Hollywood's Bradley Cooper and Academy Award nominee Amy Irving to Tony Award winners Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, David Hyde Pierce, Betty Buckley, John Benjamin Hickey, Ron Rifkin, John Kander, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman were in attendance for Victor Garber's final performance at the venue on August 20. Sarah RIce, who co-starred opposite Garber' as Johanna in the original Broadway cast of Sweeney Todd, also stopped backstage for a reunion. Caldwell, Associate Professor of Psychology at Dominican University; and Dr. Larry Arnhart, Presidential Research Professor of Political Science at Northern Illinois University, following the 1:00 p.m. performance today, August 19 at the Mercury Theater, 3745 N. Southport in Chicago. The scholars will discuss the thought-provoking themes addressed in the play, such as the existence of God and the meaning of life.

Due to popular demand, the smash hit FREUD'S LAST SESSION today announced its final extension through November 11th at the Mercury Theater, 3745 N. Southport, in Chicago.

Signature Theatre will be hosting a special one-night performance and book-signing featuring Broadway star and Helen Hayes Award winner Ed Dixon (Signature's Sunset Boulevard). On Monday, August 27 at 8:00PM, Mr. Dixon will be performing original compositions as well narrate behind-the-scenes stories from his recent memoir Secrets of A Life On Stage…And Off. Copies of the book will be available to purchase, and a book-signing will take place following the performance, which will take place in Signature's intimate ARK Theatre.

Beginning tonight, August 8th, David Ayers will be the new Buffalo Bill in Off-Broadway's sellout sensation SILENCE! The Musical at its new home, the brand new Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square. David Ayers is replacing Stephen Bienskie, who is departing to recreate his original role in the upcoming L.A. production of SILENCE! The Elektra Theatre has been specially constructed to be the new home of SILENCE! and is located at 669 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St.)

The creators and cast of the musical NOW. HERE. THIS. and Vineyard Theatre, where the musical debuted Off-Broadway in March, have launched a campaign on Kickstarter.com to raise funds for an original cast recording of the album, it has been announced. The fundraising goal is $75,000 by August 30, 2012 and a mere three days after the effort was begun on Friday, August 3, the campaign has already met 50 percent of its goal.

Commencing this summer, Northern Virginia's Tony Award®-winning Signature Theatre will be the new home to the emerging No Rules Theater Company (NRTC) through 2015. The partnership between the two companies will provide NRTC with use of the Theatre's facilities, including office and rehearsal space. NRTC's 2012/13 season, the company's 4th, will be presented in Signature's 115-seat ARK Theatre. Brian Sutow and Joshua Morgan, the company's Co-Artistic Directors, have today announced their upcoming season, which includes Black Comedy from award-winning playwright Peter Shaffer, the world premiere of The Personal(s), and the anything-goes revue, The No Rules Show. Signature, in its new building in Shirlington since 2007, will assist in mentoring the young and quickly growing company as it remains in residence.

Tuesday night at DPAC was a good news/bad news situation. The bad news: the much-publicized Christie Brinkley was not able to perform her role of Roxie Hart in Chicago, due to illness. The good news: Bianca Marroquin was flown in from NYC, right from the Broadway production of Chicago to fill in for Brinkley. The best news: Marroquin is brilliant! She absolutely oozes star quality from every pore of her body, and the audience forgot, within seconds of Marroquin's entrance, that they were not seeing the person they thought they would see in the role.
