Wayne Brady, Martin Short & Cynthia Nixon Join WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT Lineup

Maberry Theatricals have announced the second wave of stars and dates for the New York premiere of WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT, the internationally-acclaimed play by Nassim Soleimanpour. Four-time Emmy Award winner Wayne Brady will perform on April 4; Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award winner Cynthia Nixon on April 18; and Emmy & Tony Award winner Martin Short on May 2. WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT will play Monday evenings in a limited engagement at Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd Street), beginning March 7, 2016.

The sounds of the blues fills Centenary Stage Company's Lackland Center on Saturday February 6 at 8pm with legendary blues musician Guy Davis and special guest harmonica player Fabrizio Poggi. 'Davis' folksy and humble stage presence, combined with his humorous monologues, made one feel that this was not a concert, but rather, an impromptu performance on a front porch down in some southern swamp. The Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) has chosen Julie Taymor as the 2015 recipient of the William Shakespeare Award for Classical Theatre (Will Award), which recognizes artists who have made significant contributions to classical theatre in America. JM Zell Partners, Ltd. will receive the Sidney Harman Award for Philanthropy in the Arts. The awards will be presented at the Harman Center for the Arts Annual Gala on Sunday, November 1, 2015, hosted by STC at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) and the National Building Museum (440 G Street NW).

Created for ages four through seven, The Gruffalo runs at The New Victory Theater, New York City's premier performing arts venue for kids and families, from October 17-25, 2015.
