Music Theatre of Connecticut MainStage presents 'Doubt' a Parable by John Patrick Shanley. This production marks the Fairfield County professional debut of one of the most celebrated plays of our generation. Performances are April 16-25, 2010 and take place at the Music Theatre of Connecticut Studio Theatre in Westport, CT.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced plans to produce the New York premiere of A MINISTER'S WIFE, a new musical adapted from George Bernard Shaw's Candida by Austin Pendelton, with music by Joshua Schmidt and lyrics by Jan Tranen during its 2010-2011 season. A MINISTER'S WIFE, which was conceived and will be directed by Michael Halberstam, will begin performances Thursday, April 7, 2011 and opening on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Anna Mackmin returns to The Old Vic to direct a stellar cast led by Toby Stephens in Tom Stoppard's multi-award winning modern classic, The Real Thing, opening on Wednesday 21 April 2010, with previews from 10 April.

THE PEARL THEATRE COMPANY has announced that actress and director Amy Wright will direct the company's spring production, THE SUBJECT WAS ROSES. Joining the previously announced first New York Revival of Parts 1 and 2 of ANGELS IN AMERICA: A GAY FANTASIA ON NATIONAL THEMES and the New York premiere of THE INTELLIGENT HOMOSEXUAL'S GUIDE TO CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM WITH A KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES will be THE ILLUSION, Kushner's freely adapted version of Pierre Corneille's L'Illusion Comique, directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Mayer. The production will be presented in Spring, 2011 at the Peter Norton Space, (555 West 42nd Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues). Dates and casting will be announced at a later date.

Actress/playwright Kres Mersky's solo plays include Isadora Duncan: A Unique Recital (currently touring the West Coast and Canada) and At The Codfish Ball. Her full-length, full-cast plays include Algerian Romance and Flag Day. She has also written numerous one acts. She has appeared extensively on stage, screen and television, and is a member of the prestigious stage company Theatre West. Mersky's newly revised solo play The Life and Times of A. Einstein will open at Theatre West on April 10. In our talk, she discusses the play and what drew her to Einstein among other theatrical interests.

Michael Greif, who directed the world premiere at the Guthrie in April, 2009, will direct the New York premiere, which will play March 22-June 12, 2011 at The Public Theater. Casting will be announced at a later date.

Keir Dullea will make his long-awaited return to the stage in Robert Anderson's I Never Sang for My Father, presented by the Keen Company in association with Wiltsie Bridge Productions, at Theatre Row from March 23 - May 1. Directed by Jonathan Silverstein, I Never Sang for My Father marks the second Anderson play presented by Keen, following the success of its 2007 critically acclaimed production of Tea & Sympathy.

A world premiere adaptation of Jane Austen's romantic comedy Emma by Artistic Director Michael Bloom will end its run at the Cleveland Play House on March 21st.
