TADA! Youth Theater presents, (in conjunction with the now playing world premiere musical UP TO YOU), IT'S UP TO YOU, a open forum event on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 11am to discuss bullying through leadership, moderated by Miss New York Kaitlin Monte, featuring an special opening number from BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE (http://bwaypride.org/). The event is free and parents and kids are especially encouraged to attend. Miss New York Kaitlin Monte has spent the year engaging discussion in schools and working with State Senator Klein to create legislative reform. Reservations can be made at www.tadatheater.com.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, directed by the Stratford Shakespeare Festival's Artistic Director and 2-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff, opens March 22, 2012 at the Neil Simon Theatre. Previews began March 1. Broadway friends welcomed the new production to the block and BroadwayWorld was there for the photo op.

Hugh Jackman will return to Broadway during the 2013/2014 season starring as America's greatest showman in HOUDINI, an original musical. Making his Broadway debut as librettist, Academy Award and six-time Emmy Award winner Aaron Sorkin will collaborate with three-time Academy Award and four-time Grammy Award winner Stephen Schwartz. Directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien, HOUDINI is presented by film and theatre producer Scott Sanders and David Rockwell. Mr. Rockwell will also design the sets for HOUDINI. Additional HOUDINI casting, creative team and design team to be announced at a later date.

Though it is no longer a death sentence, the once carefree Michael must learn to come to terms with living with his chronic condition to gain a much deeper understanding of self and the complex world around him.

A host of Broadway performers will be special guests at the first annual CAROLING WITH THE QUEENZ, a benefit for Novo Novus Productions, the new media company whose projects include Drama Queenz, the hit theatre-based comedy web series now in its third season. Complete with open bar, raffle, video premieres and karaoke, the event will take place tonight, December 11 at 6pm in the Time Out New York Lounge at New World Stages.
