The Fox Theatre in St. Louis will present Spamalot, The Light in the Piazza, Edward Scissorhands, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as some of its shows for the 2006-2007 season

Following yesterday's World Record setting event at Monty Python's SPAMALOT, Guinness World Recordä officials certified today that 1,789 people had participated in the 'World's Largest Coconut Orchestra' by gathering in Shubert Alley and joining in a rendition of 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.'

Martin Moran and Steve Kazee will take over in the roles of Sir Robin and Sir Lancelot in Spamalot on April 4th, while Tony-nominee Harry Groener will be crowned as King Arthur on April 27

Monty Python's Spamalot celebrated its first anniversary on Broadway with a rather unusual celebration. Following the matinee performance on Wednesday, March 22, cast members gathered along with audience members, and passerbys to go for the Guinness World Record for the 'World's Largest Coconut Orchestra.'

The National Tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2005, Monty Pythons SPAMALOT, begins performances tomorrow Tuesday March 7 at Boston's Colonial Theatre. Other cities confirmed for the tour are below, with more dates to follow.

Today (Monday, January 23), The National Tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2005, Monty Pythons SPAMALOT, begins rehearsals in New York, prior to a first performance in Boston on March 7 at the Colonial Theatre. Other cities confirmed for the tour include Chicago, Washington DC, Pittsburgh and Atlanta, with more dates to follow.

Monty Python's SPAMALOT, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2005, comes home to London in October 2006. SPAMALOT will have its first performance at the Palace Theatre in London's West End on 2 October 2006. Casting will be announced shortly and tickets will go on sale on 21 February 2006.
