Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) will present, in partnership with the Atlantic Wind Symphony, the final performance of the 'Pops in Patchogue' 2014-15 concert series, titled 'A Musical Journey Through Europe,' featuring the winner of our student solo competition on Sunday, May 31, at 3 p.m.

Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) will present, in partnership with the Atlantic Wind Symphony, the next installment of the 'Pops in Patchogue' concert series, titled 'Give My Regards To Broadway,' on Sunday, April 19, at 3 p.m. 'Give My Regards To Broadway' will feature band compositions written for The Great White Way. Concert selections include highlights from the musicals, 'Cats' and 'Fiddler on the Roof,' as well as a trumpet solo of 'Music of the Night.' This performance will also feature stars who performed in the 'Big Apple' including 'Old Blue Eyes;' selections made famous by Frank Sinatra.

The Tony nominated musical The Boy From Oz brings many emotions to the surface. The story is about the life of Australian entertainer Peter Allen. His zest for life, dealing with deteriorating health, and the love he is surrounded by create for the audience a roller coaster of feelings. For the record, Martin Sherman and Nick Enright have certainly created a story of heart and perseverance.

The Atlantic Wind Symphony in partnership with the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) is pleased to present its 'Pops in Patchogue' concert series program titled 'MADE IN AMERICA' featuring band compositions written by American composers on Sunday, October 5 at 3:00 PM. Selections in this performance include Alfred Reeds' 'El Camino Real,' 'Symphonic Suite' by Clifton Williams and Frank Tichellis' 'Apollo Unleashed from Symphony No. 2.' In addition, the concert will also feature a number of concert band favorites by American composers. Atlantic Wind Symphony to Play Patchogue Theatre, 6/1

The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts in partnership with the Atlantic Wind Symphony will present BAND SELECTIONS TO DANCE BY: MUSIC WRITTEN TO CELEBRATE CULTURAL DANCE on Sunday, June 1 at 3:00 PM. Selections in this performance include Robert Russell Bennetts' 'Suite of Old American Dances,' David Holsingers' 'Liturgical Dances,' and 'Yiddish Dances' by Adam Gorb. In addition, the concert will also feature the winner of our annual student solo competition performing with the professional members of the Atlantic Wind Symphony. The Atlantic Wind Symphony is Long Islands' oldest fully professional concert band featuring only Long Island musicians.

Atlantic Wind Symphony to Perform Works of Leonard Bernstein, 4/6

The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts in partnership with the Atlantic Wind Symphony will present POPS IN PATCHOGUE, a special performance featuring the works of Leonard Bernstein, on Sunday, April 6 at 3:00 PM. This performance by Long Island's oldest professional concert band is the Suffolk County premiere of a recent 22 minute band arrangement of 'West Side Story.' In addition, the concert will include other Bernstein favorites including 'Candide' and 'Slava.'
