This coming Monday August 10th the hit show ?The Temperamentals? by Jon Marans continues the hit Militant Mondays, a series of talk backs following the performance. Joe Masteroff, Marle Becker & Jon Marans will lead the lively discussion. It will be moderated by Stacy Shane. 'The Temperamentals' is Off Broadway at the TBG Theater, 312 West 36 Street 3rd Floor, NYC. MANunderdog and Daryl Roth are presenting the new American play. Thomas Jay Ryan plays Harry Hay and Michael Urie (TV?s ?Ugly Betty?) is Rudi Gernreich, with Tom Beckett, Matthew Schneck, and Sam Breslin Wright completing the cast. The acclaimed play is directed by Jonathan Silverstein. The event is 2hrs & 15 mins including intermission.

CABARET And GYPSY Among Dayton Playhouse's 2009/10 Season

This season the Dayton Playhouse has made quite a few improvements to their schedule and pricing. Their popular FlipSide series has been such a success that they?ve incorporated it directly into their MainStage series. This allows them to bring you ftheir general audience shows and two avant-garde shows within the format of their regular season. All shows will be full productions. Musicals will be on stage for three consecutive weekends, while plays will be on stage for two consecutive weekends.

Trinity Rep is proud to announce that its 2009-2010 season will start with a bang: Cabaret will kick off what promises to be a lively year of love and levity at Trinity Rep. The scintillating musical written by Joe Masteroff with music and lyrics by John Kander and Fred Ebb will be followed by the touching romantic comedy Shooting Star by Steven Dietz (October-November); the classic hijinks of William Shakespeare?s Twelfth Night (will also be the focus of Project Discovery Plus educational slot) (January-February); MacArthur Fellow Sarah Ruhl?s quirky look at modern connections, Dead Man?s Cell Phone (February-March); Neil Simon?s inimitable touchstone of American comedy, The Odd Couple (April-May); and Pamela Gien?s lyrical and haunting drama, The Syringa Tree (April-May).
The unified curtain time of 7:30 PM for all evening performances will continue in addition to 2 PM matinees. A Christmas Carol will follow this schedule with the exception of Sundays, when performances will occur at noon and 5 PM.
Kate Warner Announced As Artistic Director For New Rep

New Repertory Theatre announced today that Kate Warner, nationally known, award-winning director from Atlanta-based Dad's Garage Theatre Company, will be the company's new Artistic Director.
'Kate Warner is a natural leader,' said Michael McCay, Chairman of the Board of New Repertory Theatre. 'She has been very successful as an Artistic Director and is known for her programming savvy. Kate also has the vision and experience to drive the continuing growth of our theatre. Under her stewardship, Dad's Garage experienced impressive growth while remaining financially stable.'
