One year ago, Waterfront Productions presented The Pitch at a theatre in Hollywood. The show was a commercial and critical success. Now, The Pitch is back, in a new production with a mostly new cast (eight of the show's twelve actors are new to the play), and The Pitch is moving to the odyssey Theatre, convenient in particular to westside audiences with free parking onsite.

Waterfront Productions will present The Pitch, written by Tom Alper, directed by Louie Liberti, and produced by Tom Alper and Christine Blackburn at Madnani Theatre. The production runs July 1- July 23, 2023. Performances are Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 3:00 pm.

Written in much the same style as The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman where a small group of actors portray several characters sharing their experience of living through a tragic local event and its aftermath on the town, Eric Ulloa's 26 PEBBLES does not just recount what happened on December 14, 2012, but is more about how the people of the Newtown community reached out to their neighbors to bond, cope and heal from that devastating tragedy in order to move forward with their lives to a more hopeful future.

Above the Curve Theatre successfully mounts Francisco Castro's ANYTHING SERIOUS. Its two perfectly cast leads, and the five strong players supporting them, winningly perform Castro's smart, witty script. Joe Lorenzo sure-handedly directs his talented troupe at a fast clip, making sure all receive their deserved moments on stage to shine.
