Full casting is announced today for Carrie, which will receive its long awaited London Premiere in The Large atSouthwark Playhouse from Friday 1 to Saturday 30 May 2015, with a press night on Wednesday 6 May. Preview performances are now sold out, following the best on-sale week of any show in the venue's 22-year history.

It's always a joy to speak to Jodie Jacobs - previous winner of a BWW:UK Award, no less. After her successes in the likes of Rock of Ages, she's now at the Arcola working on a very different kind of show, 'Happy Ending', alongside West End luminaries including Gemma Wardle and Gillian Kirkpatrick.

Based on her personal experiences of living with and succumbing to cancer, Anat Gov's play tackles difficult life choices, presenting with sincerity and matter-of-fact humour the treatment of illness in all its highs, lows, dignities and absurdities. Translated from Hebrew and adapted by Hilla Bar and with music by composers Shlomi Shaban and Michal Solomon, this UK premiere is about the nature of courage, the role of treatment and the choices that we didn't know we could make, touching all aspects of living with illness and teaching that the question isn't 'to be or not to be': it's how to be.

Lost Boy will end its current five-week season at Charing Cross Theatre as planned on Saturday 15 February. The theatre then has a 2-week hire. Lost Boy will re-open on Monday March 3 and run to Saturday 29 March.

Aria Entertainment is delighted to announce first casting today for the second annual From Page To Stage Festival, a season of new musical theatre at the Landor Theatre from Monday 10 February to Sunday 9 March 2014. Full casting is now confirmed for the Season's three showcase readings of Merman's Apprentice, Claus The Musical and The Return of the Soldier, as well as the repertory cast for three Showcase Nights of musicals in development. Final casting for the two Headline Musicals Before The Night Is Through and The Mistress Cycle will be announced next week.

Back by popular demand, the SONGBIRDS return to the award winning Battersea Barge (www.batterseabarge.com), this time delivering a night of soul, featuring some of the West End's most exciting female vocal talent. All funds raised will go to the British Heart Foundation, the charity that one of our Songbirds, Emma Hatton, is running the London Marathon for in April. On August 4th acclaimed composer and lyricist Scott Alan returedn for his biggest concert yet ay the IndigO2 Theatre Arena at the O2. The concert, produced by Amzi Entertainment, featured a 15 piece orchestra and song selections from Alan's four albums, 'Dreaming Wide Awake,' 'Keys,' 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' and 'LIVE.'
