The School Of American Ballet (SAB) held it's annual alumni cocktail reception on June 2, 2017. The SAB event was held at it's Lincoln Center location and was attended by many of it's illustrious alumni.  SAB is one of the most famous classical ballet schools in the world and is the school of George Balanchine's New York City Ballet, a leading international ballet company based at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The school trains students from the age of six, with professional vocational ballet training for students aged 11-18.

Executive Artistic Director Maurice Brandon Curry has announced details for the Eglevsky Ballet's Annual Student Workshop Performance to be held at The Olmstead Theater at Adelphi University on June 8 at 6:30 p.m. This year's Student Workshop will include world premiere works choreographed by Patrick Frenette, Christopher Huggins and Morgan McEwen.  The event will also feature works choreographed by members of the Eglevsky Ballet Academy resident faculty.

Acclaimed former New York City Ballet principal Jock Soto and performance artist and playwright Carmelita Tropicana will host the event. The 31st Annual Bessie Awards will be held on Monday, October 19, at 7:30pm, at the legendary Apollo Theater in New York City. Doors open at 6:30pm for red carpet and pre-show celebrations.

Boston, MA—Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen has announced the 2015-2016 season roster, featuring 11 new dancers and six promotions from within the Company.
