The Royal Court Theatre announces a new season of work today, Friday 27 June, including new plays from Molly Davies, Zinnie Harris, Rory Mullarkey, Tim Price and Jack Thorne; a debut play from first-time playwright Diana Nneka Atuona; a collaboration between scientist Chris Rapley, playwright and director Duncan Macmillan and director Katie Mitchell and a new production for young people and their families - Enda Walsh's new adaptation of Roald Dahl's The Twits.

According to Entertainment weekly, Harry Potter veteran Rupert Grint will soon make his Broadway debut in Terrence McNally's next Broadway comedy- It's Only a Play. Grint will play 'Frank Finger', a 'wunderkind director of a new play by an anxious writer.' He made his stage debut earlier this year in the West End production of Jez Butterworth's Mojo.

From Common Players, in association with Exeter Northcott Theatre, a new production of Jez Butterworth's critically acclaimed play, Jerusalem, will tour the West Country in May and June. The new production will be made in a new way which will involve local artists and communities and teach new skills to those involved.

Hugh Jackman withdrew from the 2015-16 Broadway run of HOUDINI due to scheduling issues, but it seems he has found another project more in line with his busy career. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the stage and screen star was rumored to return to Broadway in Jez Butterworth's play THE RIVER. Now he has confirmed in an interview with the New York Post that he will lead the play 'later this year.'
