Joining creators Steve Rosen, Sarah Saltzberg and Dan Lipton were Derrick Baskin (Memphis), Jen Cody (The Frog Princess), Lea DeLaria (Orange Is The New Black), Tony Nominee Hunter Foster (Hands On A Hardbody),Asmeret Ghebremichael (The Book Of Mormon), Jackie Hoffman (Xanadu), Tony Nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger(Glass Menagerie), Jason Kravits (Relatively Speaking) ,Zachary Levi (First Date), Caleb McLaughlin (The Lion King), Maurice Murphy (Motown), Brynn O'Malley (Annie, Honeymoon In Vegas) and Emily Rosenfeld (Annie), with DJ's Andrew Andrew (Girls), and a special visit from David Rossmer. An annual benefit event produced by the 24 Hour Company and Freestyle Picture Company for Urban Arts Partnership, The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway attracts some of entertainment's biggest names as they join forces to participate in an extreme rite of theater: writing, directing, and performing 6 original short plays, all in just 24 hours. Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2013 benefit will honor Award-winning director and frequent WTF collaborator Scott Ellis, today, Monday, November 18th at 6:30 p.m. at the Edison Ballroom in New York City (240 West 47th Street). The evening is hosted by Julie White, who won a Tony Award for her performance in the Ellis-helmed production of The Little Dog Laughed, and includes appearances by Tony Award-winners Chita Rivera, Susan Stroman, Rupert Holmes and more.
