Backed by the lush sounds of a full orchestra, Anka brings his talents to Pacific Symphony Pops for a high-energy concert filled with songs that have transcended generations. These include such hits as “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” “You Are My Destiny,” “Puppy Love,” “Lonely Boy” and the illustrious “My Way,” which became Frank Sinatra's signature song, and is the title of Anka's autobiography. The ultimate showman, Anka has achieved unprecedented success on the stage, screen and television. His songs have been performed more than 90 million times, and he's released more than 120 albums. His talent for songwriting has been delivered through the voices of Sammy Davis Jr., Buddy Holly, Michael Bublé, Celine Dion, Tom Jones, and even Michael Jackson through the posthumous release of “This Is It” in 2009.

Rounding out the 2015 season is the glamorous Broadway musical comedy classic Victor/Victoria. While it is certainly a fact that on December 4, 1956, Sun Records was host to an incredible gathering of talent (Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis), a listen to the actual recordings made that day were more along the lines of favorite folk and gospel numbers that the four shared in common. And though some of that does come through, the stage musical, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, utilizes this historic meeting as a jumping off point for an evening of truly classic rock and roll, with some other more reverent material sprinkled in for good measure. But honestly, a faithful recreation of the truth would be a bit of a letdown to most fans, so instead we're treated to a re-imagining that might bend the truth a bit (book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux), but only in the quest to give audiences a glimpse at what could have been.

The former Walter Busterkeys inspired the glitz and glamour of many a performer including current day music icons Elton John and Lady GaGa. The celebration is called 'Music, Memories and The Mansion: A Night with Liberace' to benefit Opera Las Vegas, a nonprofit company dedicated to bringing world-class opera to Southern Nevada.
