The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell Bernard, Trustee) in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will present the sixth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Douglas J. Cohen.

Village Theatre is thrilled to be producing the feel-good musical comedy, THE FULL MONTY. This production will have one preview performance in Issaquah on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, and will officially open the following day, running September 16-October 24, 2010 in downtown Issaquah, and October 29-November 21, 2010 in downtown Everett.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) has announced Directors and Musical Directors for its 22nd Annual Festival of New Musicals taking place on Thursday, October 21 and Friday, October 22, 2010 at New World Stages in New York City. NAMT is honored to continue their relationship with New World Stages for the seventh consecutive year.

Village Theatre launches its 2010-2011 season with the beefcake musical comedy, "The Full Monty". And while the performers in the show have wonderful and rich voices, the show lacked any kind of energy, pace and heart.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, recently awarded the 2010 Regional Theater Tony Award, has announced cast members for this summer's National Music Theater Conference.

Sex and the City 2 had its official New York City premiere last night, May 24th at Radio City Music Hall. The film will hit screens in the same date slot that Sex and the City did in 2008 on May 27.
