American fashion designer Nanette Lepore has been selected for the 2012 Design Series for Vogue Eyewear. The program was created in 2009 by Luxottica in partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to support American designers and provide them with the opportunity to create a limited edition frame for Vogue Eyewear. As part of the annual initiative, all participants were required to not have any previous eyewear experience.
