We've got some headline news this evening! 'Front page' news, even. According to the Chicago Tribune, Broadway veteran Nathan Lane and MAD MEN star John Slattery have signed on to lead a new Broadway revival of Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's play THE FRONT PAGE this fall.

With direction by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie and choreography by Josh Rhodes, Bright Starbegan performances on Thursday, February 25th, 2016 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street), and opened just last night, March 24th, 2016. Steppenwolf Theatre Company welcomes acclaimed film and television star Claire Danes as the guest of honor at the annual Steppenwolf Salutes Women in the Arts fundraising luncheon today, February 4, 2016 at 12 noon. The luncheon features an in-depth conversation with Claire Danes about her incredible career and impact as a leading woman in the arts.

A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical played its final performance on the Great White Way last night, Sunday, January 17, 2016. In honor of the production's acclaimed run, the cast of the 'GGLAM' tour took it upon themselves to send the D'Ysquith of Broadway off with a tribute of TITANIC proportions. Check it out below!

The original stars of the Tony-winning Broadway production of "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" reunite for a special cabaret evening in Hempstead House, hosted by composer Steven Lutvak.

To life! The Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF just opened Sunday night, December 20 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway), wrapping up the 2015 Broadway season. FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, and choreographed by Hofesh Shechter. Death is but the next great adventure for Broadway's A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER. BroadwayWorld learned this evening that the Tony Award-winning Best Musical will play its final performance on the Great White Way on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Producer Joey Parnes announced the news today. The musical's record-breaking run at the Walter Kerr Theatre will have played nearly 1,000 performances on Broadway, and its Tony Award-winning star, Jefferson Mays, will have died more than 6,000 deaths as various members of the illfated D'Ysquith family.

A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER just welcomed back original Broadway cast member, Tony nominee Bryce Pinkham, to the 2014 Best Musical last night, July 28, as 'Monty Navarro'. Pinkham departed the production earlier this year, joining Elisabeth Moss and Jason Biggsin the short-lived Broadway revival of Wendy Wasserstein's THE HEIDI CHRONICLES.

The 17th annual Broadway Barks fundraiser - the star-studded dog and cat adoption event to benefit New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore - was held July 11 in Shubert Alley.
