The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Stephen Eich, Executive Director), in association with David Shor, announced today that the world premiere of SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE - THE MUSICAL is set to complete the previously announced 2011 - 2012 season.

Performances begin June 12, 2012 and the production will play through July 15, 2012 at The Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino).

Producer David Shor, who is developing Sleepless in Seattle:The Musical for Broadway, announced today that Michelle Citrin, Michael Garin, and Josh Nelson will collaborate on the music and lyrics for the show. The musical is aiming for a Broadway bow on Valentine's Day, 2011.

Double Oscar and Grammy winning author-composer-lyricist Leslie Bricusse announced today that he is withdrawing from the intended stage musical of 'Sleepless in Seattle,' due to creative differences with the shows producer and director.

Producer David Shor has announced he is developing Sleepless in Seattle-The Musical through his entity Sleepless in Seattle Management, LLC. Shor acquired the rights to produce a play based on the hit TriStar motion picture and has brought in his longtime partner Jeff Arch, who penned the film's original story and co-wrote the screenplay, sharing 1994 Oscar, BAFTA and WGA nominations with Nora Ephron and David Ward. Arch will write the book for the show.
