York Theatre Company Oh, Coward! and The Mad Show, the next titles in its Summer 2011 Musicals in Mufti Series-the York's acclaimed series of musical theatre gems in staged concert performances. The concerts will run from July 15-17 and July 29-31, respectively. On Monday March 22, Joe's Pub will be presenting Desmon & Feichtner Continue To Disappoint Their Parents, a concert featuring the songbook of Jeremy Desmon and Vadim Feichtner, who have been referred to as the Rogers and Hart of the new millenium. New York Musical Theater Festival's 2007 'Broadway Idol' winner, George Psomas, takes a night off from his role in the acclaimed revival of South Pacific to take the stage in his solo New York concert debut on Monday August 4th (10 PM) - joined by several special guests including Tony Award nominee Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Avenue Q) and Jim Stanek (Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, staring with Nathan Lane). NYMF Director of Programming Jess McLeod directs, with musical direction by Jana Zielonka, along with musicians Brad Russell and Jay Mack.
