Anna Ty Bergman (Red Hot Broadway), Jordan Coughtry (Amadeus at Shakespeare Theatre of NJ), Blake Pfeil (Man of La Mancha at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey), Dani Marcus (Jane Austen's Emma at The Old Globe), Cedric Lamar (Rock Act 'The Life and Times Of') and Acting Company alum), Katie Fabel (Cherry Lane, Irish Rep, Mint Theatre), Roger Weisman, keyboardist Zac Lasher, bassist Dan McNaney, drummer Sparkie Sandler, guitarists Kevin Griffin and Vin Stanton, and Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey favorites Jordan Coughtry, James Michael Reilly, Jay Leibowitz, Andy Paterson, and Susan Elizabeth Maris will appear in two invited concert readings of 'VERY VERY,' Shakespeare's 'AS YOU LIKE IT' re-imagined as a contemporary rock concert.

Brooklyn artists Jay Leibowitz (STNJ, TAC, Shakespeare's Who's on First), and Zac Lasher (U-Melt, Brooklyn Sound Lab, Bebe Buell Band), will take the stage with their company of 18 professional performers and musicians in two live concert readings of VERY VERY - an exciting new vision of Shakespeare's As You Like It, re-imagined as a contemporary rock concert, on March 4, 2013.

Martin Platt, Artistic Director of Olney Theatre Center, and Jason King Jones, Director of National Players, have announced the titles for the 65th anniversary tour of National Players. For the first time this century National Players will tour with three productions, Shakespeare's Macbeth and Comedy of Errors, and Homer's Odyssey.

Considered one of Shakespeare's most popular history plays, this rousing tale has not been produced on The Shakespeare Theatre stage in 20 years. Henry IV, Part One begins performances tonight, May 30 and runs through June 24 at the Theatre's Main Stage - the F. M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre. 44th Annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Lineup Announced

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will host more than 120 outstanding theater students from colleges and universities across the nation as part of the 44th annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), April 16-21, 2012. In January and February of this year, these artists from eight regions presented their outstanding work and were selected to travel to Washington, D.C. for an expense-paid trip to participate in National Festival events taking place at the Kennedy Center.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey today announced its 2012 season - the 50th Anniversary season of the state's largest professional theatre dedicated to Shakespeare and other world classics, and the longest running Shakespeare Theatre on the East Coast. Founded in 1963 in Cape May by Paul Barry and Philip Dorian as the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, the company was invited to take up residence at Drew University in 1972. 2012 also marks the 40th Anniversary of the Theatre's residency in Madison.
