Last night (Tuesday, April 4, 2017), Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill held the finale event of their Spring 2017 Sommelier Smackdown Series atDowntown Summerlin. The fate of Round 1 victor Jenna Boyer (Lupo by Wolfgang Puck at Mandalay Bay) and Round 2 winner Luis de Santos (Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits of Nevada) was left up to guests last night who collectively crowned finale favorite Luis de Santos, who took home the coveted Sommelier Smackdown championship belt along with the ultimate bragging rights. 

The LINQ Promenade - Caesars Entertainment's open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district at the center of the Las Vegas Strip - celebrates the beginning of 2017 with Chinese New Year and football specials throughout the month of January. Guests can also enjoy daily specials and entertainment throughout the promenade.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of the first offering in the 2016 Summer Shakespeare Festival: William Shakespeare's thrilling classic Macbeth, directed by Brian Kulick, Artistic Director of Classic Stage Company and a leading Shakespearean expert. The so-called "Scottish Play" will run June 19 - July 24, 2016, in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. Previews run June 19 - 24. PRELUDES, a world premiere and the first musical to be produced by LCT3 in the Claire Tow Theater, begins performances Saturday, May 23, opens Monday, June 15, and will run through Sunday, July 19 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65th Street). Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick, Managing Director Jeff Griffin and Executive Director Greg Reiner, announced today that its production of Ivan Turgenev's A MONTH IN THE COUNTRY, starring Peter Dinklage and Taylor Schilling, will extend through Saturday, February 28 at CSC (136 East 13th Street). The production had been schedules to close February 22. Directed by Erica Schmidt, the cast also includes Peter Appel, Ian Etheridge, Anthony Edwards, Mike Faist, Elizabeth Franz, James Joseph O'Neil, Elizabeth Ramos, Thomas Jay Ryan, Annabella Sciorra, Frank Van Putten, Megan West and Kate Wetherhead.
