The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced additional casting today for the 2013 season of free Shakespeare in the Park at the Delacorte. This summer, all performances for THE COMEDY OF ERRORS and LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST, A NEW MUSICAL will begin at 8:30 p.m. with running times of approximately 90 minutes, no intermission.

The Drama League has just announced that Patina Miller and Michael Urie will co-host the announcement of the 2013 Drama League Nominees for Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award set for Tuesday morning, April 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sardi's. Last night, The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center honored Christopher Plummer at a gala event in New York City. The 13th Annual Monte Cristo Award was presented to Mr. Plummer by fellow stage and film legend Kevin Spacey. Mr. Spacey was the recipient of the Monte Cristo Award in 2009. Due to overwhelming demand, the producers of SILENCE! The Musical today put a new block of tickets on sale through September 1st.

The Village Voice, the nation's largest alternative weekly newspaper, previously announced that tickets will go on sale today, April 10, 2013 for the 58th Annual Obie Awards on Monday, May 20, 2013, at Webster Hall in the East Village, 125 East 11th Street.

Opening Night is set for Thursday April 18th.

Subsequently, the producers determined that the production would reopen on January 19th. After opening initially at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre in Times Square which was constructed especially for the show.

Producer John Frost announced today that due to huge demand, three additional performances of Driving Miss Daisy have been added to the current Perth season, the final performances of the production in Australia. Driving Miss Daisy will play at Perth's His Majesty's Theatre from June 8-19.
