On July 23rd, platinum-selling and chart-topping country artist Chris Janson will be the first artist to film an episode of public television's groundbreaking concert series, Front and Center, at Opry City Stage, New York City's home for country music and culture located in Times Square. He was joined by the U.S. Marine Band and the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters for a once in a lifetime performance, which will air on the Hallmark Channel on July 4th at 8 p.m. ET.

The 47th annual CMA Fest kicked off yesterday, with more than 100 performances on 11 stages throughout downtown Nashville. Fans packed the festival for hours upon hours of live music and one-of-a-kind fan experiences, from CMA reigning New Artist of the Year Jon Pardi kicking off the Chevy Riverfront Stage, to Dierks Bentley appearing and performing on the CMA Close Up Stage for the Artist of the Day session at Xfinity Fair Fair X, to Jason Aldean closing out the nightly concert at Nissan Stadium.

USA Network today announced that multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award(R)-winning country music legend Travis Tritt will join its upcoming new music showcase series REAL COUNTRY, alongside previously announced icons - GRAMMY Award(R)-winning trailblazer Shania Twain and ACM Award-winning singer-songwriter Jake Owen. In each hour-long episode set to premiere this fall on USA Network, Twain, Owen and Tritt will hand-select emerging solo artists, duos and groups to perform in showcases that spotlight the rich traditions, songs and themes of specific country genres. The best artists from each showcase will perform in a grand finale, for the chance to be named one of country music's next breakout acts.

The loudest night in country music kicked it up a notch as the biggest stars in the genre and beyond took on Nashville for the "2018 CMT Music Awards." In a night of firsts, Blake Shelton won his first-ever Video of the Year Award for "I'll Name The Dogs;" Little Big Town hosted for the first-time; and Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line, Kelly Clarkson, Little BigTown, Sam Hunt and Backstreet Boys seized the moment to debut new music for the first-time anywhere. A slew of new artists walked away with their first buckles, including Dan + Shay (Duo Video of the Year), Carly Pearce(Breakthrough Video of the Year), Kane Brown (Collaborative Video of the Year with Lauren Alaina), Backstreet Boys (CMT Performance of the Year with Florida Georgia Line) and Ludacris (Female Video of the Year with Carrie Underwood). Carly Pearce and Kane Brown won the first awards of their careers. Carrie Underwood's win for "Female Video of the Year" extends her record for most "CMT Music Awards" wins with a grand total of 18.

CMA Fest has announced more than 100 additional performances throughout Downtown Nashville Thursday through Sunday, June 7-10. Xfinity Fan Fair X is back and more exciting than ever featuring three stages packed with artist performances, panels and meet and greets, in addition to music and lifestyle exhibits, prize giveaways and the Marketplace taking place daily from 9:30 AM-5:00 PM inside Music City Center. The HGTV Lodge returns for a seventh year, hosting performances with Country Music favorites and appearances from HGTV stars. Newly added to the Nissan Stadium stage, Jake Owen will perform on Friday night and Cole Swindell will perform on Sunday night.

The Country Network, a music video TV network for dedicated country fans, will be premiering the music video for Caleche's hot new single 'Get Down' this coming Monday, May 7. The LA-based “West Coast Cowgirl” partnered with Wicked Tango Whiskey and Nitro Citrus to create a vibrant party of video for this weekend anthem. The video was shot by videographer Jeff Kelly, known for working with artists like Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, and directed by Izak Rappaport, who has acquired clients such as Ashley Benson and Nylon Magazine.
