Warp Graphics has announced a world premiere industry reading of MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH: A MUSICAL THRILLER with book and lyrics by Wendy Pini, music and additional lyrics by Gregory Nabours, and directed by Calvin Remsberg, on Monday, October 27 at 7:30pm at the NoHo Arts Center in North Hollywood, CA.

The AMERICAN IDOL LIVE! Tour, which is proving to be one of the best-selling tours of the summer as tickets continue to sell at light speed in markets across the country, has joined forces with Ford Motor Company, Coca-Cola, and U.S. Air Force Reserve for a series of innovative charitable and promotional campaigns.

On Wednesday's performance show, the Top 5 performed two songs from 'now and then,' and Lusk, 23, from Compton, CA, sang 'No Air' and 'Love Hurts.' Tonight's episode also featured performances by IDOL judge and global superstar Jennifer Lopez featuring Pitbull, as well as country music sensation Lady Antebellum.

It seems too early in the competition for the finalists of American Idol to be so universally outstanding. Sure, last night's performances included both highs and lows, and true I'm attached to some of the competitors more than others. Quite frankly, I find it highly unusual that the top 9 are as polished as they are. Perhaps it's a reflection of the show's new mentors and/or judges?
