Fresh from the success of Night of a Thousand Judys, The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre will move to 54 BELOW for a six-month run starting on Wednesday, July 24 at 9:30 PM. Known for its signature blend of outrageous comedy, politics, culture and everything in between, The Meeting* is moving uptown after four seasons of packed houses in the West Village. Justin Sayre and The Meeting* were named one of the Top 10 nightclub shows of 2011 by Time Out New York, received the 2012 Bistro Award for "Comedy Artistry" and a 2011 MAC Award nomination for Best Male Comedy Performance.

Broadway producer and Sag Harbor community local Stewart Lane has been cast as Eronius in Bay Street Theatre's presentation of A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, beginning August 6 and running through September 1. The show stars Peter Scolari with Conrad John Schuck and Jackie Hoffman. The book is by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart with lyrics and music by Stephen Sondheim; music direction by Ethyl Will; and directed and choreographed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge.

Robert Nederlander, Jr., a third generation member of the Nederlander theater dynasty, and Richard Eisenberg, a prominent Long Island attorney and arts philanthropist, have joined the Board of Trustees of Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, the renowned Long Island not-for-profit summer arts day camp. Usdan Center (www.usdan.com), now in its 46th season, has introduced the arts to more than 60,000 children ages 6 to 18, and counts among its alumni Natalie Portman, Jane Monheit, Mariah Carey, Olivia Thirlby, Seth Rudetsky, Jackie Hoffman, Lisa Gay Hamiltonand members of major music and dance ensembles.

Bay Street Theatre presents the final production of the 2013 Mainstage Season with A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, beginning August 6 and running through September 1. Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW presented Bernard Shaw's madcap comedy TOO TRUE TO BE GOOD at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South) in Manhattan. David Staller produced and directed. In TOO TRUE TO BE GOOD, a glamorous pair of jewel thieves (Charles Busch and Robert Cuccioli) convince a chronic young convalescent (Ryann Redmond) to steal her own jewels and run away with them to a tropical paradise. Her over-protective mother (Jackie Hoffman) comes chasing after them and a riotous time is had by all. This is Shaw's 1931 madcap high-comedy journey, which takes on fad diets, the medical profession, the military, war, religion, and sex. It's a short and lively comedic lark.
