The York Theatre Company will honor 2019 Tony Award winner André De Shields (Hadestown) with the 2019 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre

On Monday, August 19, 2019, Tony and Emmy Award winning actor André De Shields took the Amtrak Acela to Baltimore for a day of celebration.

The Detroit Repertory Theatre, in partnership with neighbors Dream of Detroit, the HUDA Clinic, Muslim Center, and HUG Community Garden, is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Arts & Culture Festival and Street Fair at its home in the geographical center of Detroit on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10 am to 8 pm. This free, all day, outdoor event is made possible by a grant from ART Ops, and Community HeART of Highland Park and is a celebration of the arts, neighborhood revitalization, healthy living, community, and the power of diversity acting in unity in Detroit.

Playing powerful roles in Shakespeare's plays is nothing new for Shannon Hill who joined the theater at the age of nine. Since then, she has had a "fierce desire" to share her Shakespearean passion with others.

A Broadway star is among the cast of talented actors who will take center stage at the Miller Outdoor Theatre this year for the 43rd season of the Houston Shakespeare Festival (HSF).

This summer, the annual Houston Shakespeare Festival presents TWELFTH NIGHT and RICHARD III, free and open to the public, at Hermann Park's Miller Outdoor Theatre.

One of Arthur Miller's enduring classics will return to The Warehouse Theatre's main stage on March 24th, 2017 for a four-week run. The show's opening will mark the rst time Chip Egan and Mimi Wyche have shared a stage since 2010 when they performed in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

For more than 40 years, the school has delivered the Houston Shakespeare Festival (HSF) to eager audiences. This year's event will continue this tradition with free performances of 'Much Ado About Nothing' directed by Jack Young and 'Henry V' directed by Lenny Banovez. Performances run July 29 through Aug. 7 at Hermann Park's Miller Outdoor Theatre (6000 Hermann Park Dr.). All performances begin at 8:15 p.m.

Titan Theatre Company Artistic Director Lenny Banovez and Producer Kevin Beebee announced today the concept, full cast and creative team for Titan Theatre Company's ambitious new production of Julius Caesar, Shakespeare's brilliant political drama.
