IAMA THEATRE COMPANY presents IAMAFest 2012 on Friday, May 18, 2012 - Sunday, June 10, 2012 (Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm; Sundays at 3pm) at The Working Stage Theater. IAMAFest is an festival of new one-acts and premieres, featuring both known, established talent and new, emerging voices. The five featured pieces in this years festival are CALL BACK by Neil LaBute (World Premiere); DRUNK by Bekah Brunstetter (West Coast Premiere); A MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR THE LIVING by Charlotte Miller (World Premiere); THE FOUNDATION by Graham Sibley (World Premiere); and STORYTELLING by Stefanie Black (World Premiere). Stars Mike Vogel (THE HELP, CLOVERFIELD, PAN AM) and Emma Greenwell (SHAMELESS) join an ensemble cast of IAMA Theatre Company members and friends.

ABC Family celebrates Mother's Day during 'Mamalicious Week,' with movies and shows that moms love, airing each weeknight and all-day Saturday and Sunday, starting today, May 6 and running through Sunday, May 13 (Mother's Day). Today we are talking to one of the biggest new stars on Broadway who first burst onto the scene in HAIRSPRAY but has since carved out a place in the great pantheon of theatre history in creating the iconic lead role of Elder Price in the Broadway hit of the decade, THE BOOK OF MORMON, Andrew Rannells. One among many on the incredibly impressive list of performers at Monday night's NY Pops JOURNEY ON gala at Carnegie Hall celebrating the music and lyrics of Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty, Rannells joins many of the other accomplished Broadway/Hollywood crossover stars of modern Broadway as well as those who predominantly tread the boards. Illustrating his journey with the edgy and ribald musical smash THE BOOK OF MORMOM from workshop to Broadway, the Tony Awards and beyond, Rannells paints the picture of the show's road to success and imparts his effervescent enthusiasm and all too apparent joy to be appearing in such a crowd-pleasing and joyous experience eight times a week. Additionally, Rannells shares his thoughts on the upcoming national tour starring Gavin Creel and whether or not there will be a MORMON film version sooner rather than later. Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the out-of-competition Premieres and Documentary Premieres sections of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Included in this year's line-up is Price Check, featuring Cheyenne Jackson, Parker Posey, and Annie Parisse.The Festival will be held January 19 through 29 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. This November 12th and 13th, The Acting Studio at Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica presents The Actor's Golden Box, a two-day intensive program of training taught by renowned acting coach Michelle Danner.

The Huffington Post snapped a shot of actress Isla Fisher, in full costume, on the set for Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatbsy today. Fisher plays Myrtle, mistress to Joel Edgerton's Tom Buchanan.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. announced today that it will release Baz Luhrmann's Leonardo DiCaprio starrer The Great Gatsby on Dec. 25, 2012 , the same day DiCaprio's Django Unchained is set to open.

"Hello Herman," a new feature film from L.A.-based All In Films has wrapped principal photography in Los Angeles area.

Roger Kumble, David Elzer and Molly O'Keefe are thrilled to announce that Eileen Galindo has joined the cast of the world premiere play, GIRLS TALK, written and directed by Roger Kumble (turnaround, d girl) and also starring Andréa Bendewald ('Suddenly Susan'), Leslie Bibb ('Talledega Nights'), Brooke Shields ('Lipstick Jungle'), and Constance Zimmer ('Entourage'). GIRLS TALK will close Sunday, April 24 at the Lee Strasberg Theatre, 7936 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood.
