BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Emmy Award-winner and Grammy Award nominee Wayne Brady will take over the coveted role of 'Lola' in the Tony Award®-winning musical Kinky Boots at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) on November 21, 2015. Brady will succeed Broadway's original (and current) award-winning 'Lola,' Billy Porter. Porter has played over 800 performances in the role and won both a Tony Award and a Grammy Award for his work in the production. His final historic performance in Kinky Boots will be November 20, 2015.

PIPPIN will play a limited engagement at The Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN November 17 - 22. The Toronto Star writes that the Canadian premiere of the Tony Award-winning KINKY BOOTS, which opened June 28 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, has been extended through November 8, 2015. Tickets for the added six weeks of performances go on sale July 6.

The upcoming UK premiere of Kinky Boots, Broadway's huge-hearted, high-heeled hit, today announces the opening of a new booking period, with tickets now available until Saturday 6 February 2016. Tickets for this extended period will go on sale from Monday 29 June 2015. Winner of six Broadway Tony® Awards, Kinky Boots will open at London's Adelphi Theatre on 15 September 2015, with previews from 21 August 2015.
