Today, Walt Disney Studios has unveiled the first images from the Frozen-inspired suite at Quebec City's famed Hôtel de Glace, in celebration of Disney's 'FROZEN' Blu-ray & Digital HD release. Created entirely out of sculpted ice and snow and supervised by the film's art director Michael Giaimo, the 'Frozen Suite' is modeled after Anna & Elsa's bedrooms. The collaboration will also include a 'Frozen Activity Cave' bringing the wonder of Disney's wintry tale to life like never before. The suite will be unveiled this weekend and remain open through March 23.

In an interview posted on today's EWonline, Broadway star Idina Menzel commented on this morning's announcement that Disney's latest animated hit film FROZEN received two Oscar nominations.

Coming as no surprise to anyone, the talented husband and wife musical team of Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (Avenue Q, Book of Mormon) received a nod for Best Original Song, Frozen's 'Let It Go', performed in the film by Idina Menzel and by Demi Lovato as a single. The Disney hit film also picked up a nomination for Best Animated Film. Now one question remains- which belting beauty (if either at all) will perform the song at the ceremony? As a result, an additional concert was scheduled for Wednesday January 8, which also sold out. Why such a fuss over Laura Benanti, you may ask? The answer is simple. Apart from the fact that this is her Los Angeles debut, let's add that like Audra McDonald, Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, this lady is a sensational singer with an incomparable range, and as the title of the album suggests, she is totally worthy of the highest form of attention. In her 75-minute set, which included just about every song on the album, she also proved what a winning charm and sense of humor she possesses! Like Patti LuPone before her, Laura Benanti has a precious wit that can only be experienced to its fullest in this kind of environment, namely a cabaret setting. She let her hair down and she was...GREAT! Outstanding musicians Kevin Axt was on bass, Ray Brinker on drums, Andrew Synowiec on guitar and virtuoso musical arranger and director Todd Almond also dueted with Benanti a couple of times during the set on pieces he had arranged or composed.
