The 2013 Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 15 is available in theaters starting this weekend! Lovers of Broadway talent can do some early holiday shopping as well as support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) through the purchase of this 2-disc, annual CD of original and traditional holiday music from the current 2013 Broadway line-up. Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is taking pre-orders now for Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 15, and will be mailing the CDs out beginning November 1st.

BROADWAY ON THE HUDSON concert, presented by United Airlines, took place in lower Manhattan on September 27th at Brookfield Place Waterfront Plaza (220 Vesey Street between North End Avenue and West Street). The free outdoor concert was hosted by Justin Guarini, who is currently playing Paris in the new Broadway production ofWilliam Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and Krysta Rodriguez, who plays serial-dater Casey in the new musical comedy, First Date. Just yesterday, September 24, The Broadway League and The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds (COBUG) presented the fifth annual Broadway Salutes, a celebration -- free and open to the public - which honors the countless professionals who have made Broadway great for decades. In this industry-wide event, which was held at the Times Square Visitor Center (1560 Broadway, between 46th and 47th Streets) in the heart of the theatre district, theater professionals received special recognition for having worked 25, 35, and 50 years in their respective theatrical craft. Tonight, September 24, 2013, The Broadway League and The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds (COBUG) will present the fifth annual Broadway Salutes, a celebration -- free and open to the public - which honors the countless professionals who have made Broadway great for decades. In this industry-wide event, which will take place at the Times Square Visitor Center (1560 Broadway, between 46th and 47th Streets) in the heart of the theatre district, theater professionals will receive special recognition for having worked 25, 35, and 50 years in their respective theatrical craft. It was theatre magic at its best: rain lightly came down on closing night as the entire cast of LES MISERABLES at The Muny belted out 'The Epilogue' one more time. The audience lept to their feet as the final notes hung in the air. All week long, The Muny experienced a complete standing ovation before the curtain call began, something that Muny goers said hasn't happened in at least 35 years. The cast of LES MISERABLES experienced the audience's appreciation all week long and their final performance was no exception.
