Former Broadway Les Miserables cast members Deborah Bradshaw and Craig Schulman lend a hand in the Cumberland County College Theater Arts Department for their production of Les Miserables.

Brent Barrett (Chicago, Phantom of the Opera), founder of the Broadway Tenors will be performing in all upcoming announced concerts, along with Matt Cavenaugh (West Side Story, Grey Gardens) and John Cudia (Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables). BROADWAY ON THE HUDSON concert, presented by United Airlines, took place in lower Manhattan on September 27th at Brookfield Place Waterfront Plaza (220 Vesey Street between North End Avenue and West Street). The free outdoor concert was hosted by Justin Guarini, who is currently playing Paris in the new Broadway production ofWilliam Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and Krysta Rodriguez, who plays serial-dater Casey in the new musical comedy, First Date. In this industry-wide event, which was held at the Times Square Visitor Center (1560 Broadway, between 46th and 47th Streets) in the heart of the theatre district, theater professionals received special recognition for having worked 25, 35, and 50 years in their respective theatrical craft. Even the threat of rain didn't stop the biggest day of the year for Broadway fans from turning into a bright and sunny day for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS as the 27th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction raised an outstanding $631,222.

The musical phenomenon this year celebrated an unprecedented 25 Years in New York, where it plays at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street).

It was theatre magic at its best: rain lightly came down on closing night as the entire cast of LES MISERABLES at The Muny belted out 'The Epilogue' one more time. The audience lept to their feet as the final notes hung in the air. All week long, The Muny experienced a complete standing ovation before the curtain call began, something that Muny goers said hasn't happened in at least 35 years. The cast of LES MISERABLES experienced the audience's appreciation all week long and their final performance was no exception.
