The Drama League has announced that Judith Light and Christopher Sieber will announce the 2014 Drama League Awards Nominees for Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award on Wednesday morning, April 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Sardi's (234 West 44th Street, 2nd Floor). The nominations ceremony will be broadcast worldwide via live stream here at www.broadwayworld.com.
Tony Awards Administration Committee to Meet Final Time this Season on April 25

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the Tony Awards Administration Committee will meet for the final time this season on April 25 to determine the eligibility for the final productions of the 2013-14 season. The Tony Awards Administration Committee has met three previous times throughout the 2013-2014 season to decide the eligibility for the 68th Annual Tony Awards, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Stage and screen star Kevin Spacey was just honored by Museum of the Moving Image at its 28th annual Salute last night, April 9, 2014 in New York City. Spacey joins the ranks of past honorees who have received the Museum's Salute, including Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Robert DeNiro, Goldie Hawn, Alec Baldwin, Dustin Hoffman, Hugh Jackman, Steve Martin, Al Pacino, Sidney Poitier, Jimmy Stewart, Julia Roberts, Martin Scorsese, and Steven Spielberg. The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced this year's recipients of 2014 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre. These honors will be presented at the Tony Honors Cocktail Party, a private cocktail reception, on Monday, June 2nd at the Paramount Hotel's Diamond Horseshoe. The 2014 Tony Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, June 8th on CBS, and are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
