This week, THEATER TALK features its annual Tony Wrap Up, an interview with legendary theater photographer Joan Marcus - honored with a special TONY this year - and an AndrewAndrew report from the TONY Red Carpet. Co-hosted by Michael Riedel of the New York Post and producer Susan Haskins, this episode premieres Friday, June 13 (2014) at 1 AM (Saturday morning) on Thirteen/PBS, and repeats in the New York metro area on CUNY TV* Saturday 6/14 at 8:30 PM, Sunday 6/15 at 12:30 PM, and Monday 6/16 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 7:30 PM.

Tony-Winning Shows Reveal Boost in Post Sunday Sales

The Tonys are over, and now many of this season's shows are benefitting from the big night as a result. This year's Best Musical winner, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, will bring in a whooping $900,000 by the end of today, according to a report by Variety. Additionally, both Aladdin and Beautiful, which each scored acting wins (for James Monroe Iglehart and Jessie Mueller), will reportedly break the $1 million mark by the end of the day.
