Performances begin Friday, October 8 at 45 Bleecker, 45 Bleecker Street (just east of Lafayette). TV Land announced today that in addition to the star-studded ensemble cast of its first original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland,' Wayne Knight ('Seinfeld,' '3rd Rock from the Sun'), Shirley Knight ('As Good As It Gets,' 'Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood'), Huey Lewis ('Duets,' 'Just Shoot Me!'), Hal Linden ('Barney Miller'), Susan Lucci ('All My Children'), Juliet Mills ('Nanny and the Professor'), Carl Reiner ('The Dick Van Dyke Show'), John Schneider ('Dukes of Hazzard,' 'Smallville,') and Amy Yasbeck ('Wings') will make guest appearances during its first season. Knight, Lewis, Linden, Lucci, Mills, Reiner, Schneider and Yasbeck will join the sensational veteran cast of Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White for TV Land's first scripted series. 'Hot In Cleveland' is written by Emmy Award-winning Suzanne Martin ('Frasier,' 'Ellen') and produced by Emmy Award-winner Sean Hayes ('Will & Grace') and Todd Milliner of Hazy Mills Productions. The series is a TV Land PRIME original production and premieres June 16, 2010 at 10PM ET/PT.

The forthcoming TV Land series 'Hot In Cleveland' has signed on a line-up of guest stars of the show's first season. Guests include Susan Lucci, Hal Linden, Huey Lewis, Juliet Mills, John Schneider, Carl Reiner, Wayne Knight and Amy Yesbeck. 'Hot In Cleveland' premieres June 16 at 10pm on TV Land.

On THE VIEW Today, when asked about the prospect of her appearing on stage, Gwyneth Paltrow (who was on promoting her new movie, IRON MAN) said that it's something she'd like to do but 'not right now.' She then turned to THE VIEW co-host Whoopi Goldberg and expressed a desire for Whoopi to return to the stage. Paltrow's name (and her mother - Blythe Danner) had been bandied around as a rumored replacements for Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC.

'American Idol' featured the teen sensation Miley Cryus as the contestant's coach on their songs for this week. Cyrus was surprisingly helpful in her comments to the top 11 and it was clear she had done her homework, knowing each person's strengths and weaknesses. Several singers gave strong performances this week, while the weaker contestants missed the mark again. The theme was back to number one Billboard hits and, even though it seems like it should be easy to make a good song choice out of the thousands of possibilities, it was still a struggle for many of the singers.
