Eli Manning and the defending Super Bowl Champion New York Giants travel to Philadelphia to take on Michael Vick and the NFC East rival Eagles on Sunday Night Football. Coverage begins Sunday with Football Night in America at 7 p.m. ET.

Mike Florio, who created the innovative, NFL-focused web destination ProFootballTalk.com and initially partnered with NBCSports.com in 2009, will extend the PFT brand to another NBC Sports Group platform when he hosts a daily weekday television program on NBC Sports Network beginning tonight, Sept. 4. The one-hour Pro Football Talk will air at 5 p.m. ET, every Monday through Friday, and will be co-hosted by Erik Kuselias, the host of NBC SportsTalk.

NBC and NBC Sports Network will combine to televise 32 college football games during the 2012 season, beginning with a triple-header on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Hines Ward, a four-time Pro Bowler who played 14 years for the Pittsburgh Steelers before retiring after the 2011 season, joins NBC Sports Group as an analyst across its NFL, college football and studio programming, it was announced today.

First Lady Michelle Obama will make a special taped appearance at Cartoon Network's upcoming Hall of Game Awards (HallofGame.com). Mrs. Obama founded Let's Move! two years ago to solve the problem of childhood obesity. The First Lady will appear onscreen to speak about the importance of getting active and to congratulate 'Let's Move L.A.' on the work they've done to get people moving.

USA Network announced today the launch of its second Characters Unite Month beginning in February, to build on its ongoing public service commitment to combat prejudice and discrimination.

Sugarland will reunite a family who lost their home in the tornado that devastated the community of Joplin, Mo. at the 2011 CMT MUSIC AWARDS in Nashville. The Gilbert family survived, but experienced a total loss of their home on May 22.
