Side Show will make history on Opening Night, November 17 at 7:45 p.m. when Clear Channel Spectacolor will broadcast the show-stopping Act I finale in Times Square with never before used audio technology on one of their digital billboards. The rousing Act I finale, Who Will Love Me as I Am?, sung by the show's two leading ladies, Erin Davie and Emily Padgett, will be the first opening night performance in history aired live in Times Square.

Clear Channel Spectacolor, the U.S. market leader in spectacular sign displays and a brand division of Clear Channel Outdoor (NYSE: CCO) announced today that it, has joined the producing team of the upcoming Broadway production of Side Show.

Earlier this summer, over 1,200 people lined up in Times Square to be filmed crawling across a green screen. Spanish artist Daniel Canogar captured the footage of their crawls and has edited it to be shown on the Square's spectacular billboards in September. The resulting film, titled Storming Times Square, will have its premiere on Times Square billboards September 1 and screened every night in September at 11:57 p.m. as part of the Midnight Moment, a monthly presentation of The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts. This month's presentation is in partnership with bitforms gallery.

Chris Doyle will transform the concrete jungle of New York City's Times Square into a flourishing canyon landscape for three minutes every night in July as part of Midnight Moment. The artist's film, titled Bright Canyon, will premiere just beforemidnight on Tuesday, July 1st, and play every night throughout the month from 11:57 p.m. to midnight on Times Square's electronic billboards.Midnight Moment is a monthly presentation of The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts. For the sixth year, the Tony Awards® will be simulcast live in Times Square…and you're invited! Hosted by FOX5 New York's Julie Chang, the awards show honored Tony Award-winners Katie Finneran and Anthony LaPaglia, the current stars of Billy Elliot on Broadway, Harry Coghlan (President and General Manager of Clear Channel Outdoor's New York and Spectacolor Divisions), and Nicholas & Lence Communications CEO (and former NYC & Company Director) Cristyne Nicholas. Presenters for the evening included New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Broadway actor Brooks Ashmanskas, and Broadway Casting Director Nora Brennan. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the celebration.
