Stephen Sondheim's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC - which contestably features his most well-known hit, 'Send in the Clowns' - opens in Pittsburgh this Sunday as part of Opera Theater of Pittsburgh's second-annual SummerFest. SummerFest is a three-week artistic celebration that 'brings together a pack of independently-spirited, joyfully unconventional people to celebrate community as well as cultural values' through the presentation of six distinct operas for theatergoers of all ages and interests.

The Madison Recreation Department and Playwrights Theatre present SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM a musical entertainment, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and music by Leonard Bernstein, Mary Rodgers, Richard Rodgers, Jule Styne, continuity by Ned Sherrin, produced on Broadway by Harold Prince in association with Ruth Mitchell.

Last month, the Broadway community gathered together to celebrate the life and show business legacy of beloved Broadway performer Kevin Gray at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street). The Majestic Theatre held a special place for Mr. Gray, having starred there in The Phantom of the Opera, first as Raoul and later as The Phantom. The producers of I Forgive You, Ronald Reagan, the new play by John S. Anastasi, in which the present is on a collision course with the past, are pleased to announce the cast and creative team for a limited Off-Broadway run this summer. Directed by Charles Abbott, performances will begin at The Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Aves.) on Monday, July 15. Opening Night is set for Tuesday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. The show is scheduled to play through August 25th.

COMPANY at Signature Theatre is electrifying and brilliant. Director Eric Schaeffer's return to COMPANY - after 20 years - may well be considered among his finest directorial achievements. Directed by Clive Cholerton, the classic musicals will play two weeks of performances.
