Lakewood Theatre Company presents Jamaica part of the Lost Treasures Collection Series February 19 & 20, 2016   The Lost Treasures Collection, a series of rarely performed musical gems, is back for a sixth season at Lakewood Theatre Company. This year, musicals in the series reflect the theme 'Passport to Romance.'

The North American tour of the new stage adaptation of THE WIZARD OF OZ will play the National Theatre for two weeks only, May 3 - 15, 2016.

Birdland Jazz Club has announced its schedule for February 8-14, Jane Monheit, Birdland Jazz Party, Barbara Carroll and more!

San Francisco Opera Center and the Merola Opera Program present the 33rd season of the Schwabacher Debut Recitals. This season, the recitals move to the state-of-the-art Dianne and Tad Taube Atrium Theater in San Francisco Opera's new Diane B. Wilsey Center for Opera, located on the fourth floor of the Veterans Building (401 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco). The February 28 series-opener—Ports of Call with New York Festival of Song Artistic Director Steven Blier and 2016 San Francisco Opera Adler Fellows Amina Edris, Edward Nelson and Brad Walker—marks the inaugural public performance in the Taube Atrium Theater, which boasts the innovative Meyer Sound Constellation acoustic system. The 5:30 p.m. Sunday recital series continues on March 6 with bass-baritone Daniel Okulitch and pianist John Churchwell; March 20 with baritone Efraín Solís accompanied by pianist Robert Mollicone; and April 24 with baritone Kihun Yoon and pianist Mark Morash.

?Ocean State Theatre Company's Producing Artistic Director, Amiee Turner, who won rave reviews for her portrayal of Mama Rose in last summer's production of Gypsy, will take the stage in her very own concert, "Once in Love, with Amiee: Puppy Love, Heartbreak and Ever After," on Sunday, February 14 at 7:30 pm.

This February, the universal language of the blues will wail out full and strong on the corner of Franklin and First in downtown Clarksville.  The scorching Tony-nominated musical revue BLUES IN THE NIGHT opens at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Friday, February 5, at 8pm.  In keeping with the theatre's traditional pay-what-you-can preview, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular ticket price will go on sale at 7:30pm that evening for a $5 minimum donation.

The Winter Park Playhouse kicks off the new year with a Central Florida Premiere - I LEFT MY HEART: A SALUTE TO THE MUSIC OF TONY BENNETT. The production runs tonight, January 22, through February 27, 2016.

AMERICAN SHOWSTOPPERS - featuring Fred Barton & His Orchestra and starring a cast of today's best Broadway performers - will present "An Evening with Cole Porter" at Pace University's Schimmel Center in New York on Friday, March 4 at 7:30 PM and then Kingsborough Community College's Goldstein Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, March 5 at 8:00 PM.  The cast of outstanding Broadway performers includes Beth Leavel (Tony Award winner for The Drowsy Chaperone), Sean McGibbon, Paula Leggett Chase, Damon Kirsche, Karen Murphy and Jesse Luttrell in addition to the Scott Thompson Dancers. On Monday, January 4, 2016 (mostly)musicals returned to the E Spot Lounge for the 4th time with songsforanewYEAR, the company's 15th entry in a series of themed cabarets. 'We were excited to get 2016 - and the 3rd season of (mostly)musicals - off to a happy start, so the only theme was 'happy music'! There were no sad songs allowed at this show,' explains producer amy francis schott.
