James Walski's TRIP OF LOVE, Featuring Songs of the '60s, Will Open This Fall at Little Shubert Theatre

Producer Makoto Deguchi has announced that TRIP OF LOVE, a new dance musical spectacle inspired by and set to the biggest hit songs of the 1960s, will open this fall at the Little Shubert Theatre (422 West 42nd St). Created, directed and choreographed by James Walski, TRIP OF LOVE will begin previews in September of 2015, and will officially open in October of 2015.

To save the business, Charlie forms an unlikely partnership with cabaret performer and drag queen, Lola. With Lola's help, Charlie develops a plan to produce a line of high-heeled boots. In the process, he and Lola discover that they are not so different after all.

Disney's Aladdin, the Tony Award-winning new musical comedy based on the Academy Award-winning animated film, is pleased to announce that original stars Adam Jacobs (Aladdin), Tony Award nominee Jonathan Freeman (Jafar), Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart (Genie) and Courtney Reed (Jasmine) have extended their contracts with the production through February 21, 2016. The four actors have led the 'sublime' (NY1) Aladdin company since its pilot production at Seattle's Fifth Avenue Theatre in the summer of 2011 and garnered critical acclaim when the Broadway production opened on March 20, 2014.
