Joshua Henry Joins Cast of COTTON CLUB PARADE at New York City Center, 11/14-18

Joshua Henry will join Amber Riley ("Glee"), Jared Grimes and Adriane Lenox in New York City Center's acclaimed production of Cotton Club Parade, returning for seven performances from November 14-18, 2012. (Mr. Henry replaces the previously announced Brandon Victor Dixon. Mr. Dixon is no longer available due to scheduling conflicts.) Conceived by Jack Viertel and presented under the auspices of City Center's Tony Award-winning Encores! series, Cotton Club Parade will once again be directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, with music direction by Jazz at Lincoln Center Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis. The show will feature the Jazz at Lincoln Center All Stars under the direction of Daryl Waters.

Joel Dommel is originally from Whitehall, PA, is a recent graduate of The Hartt School with a BFA in Music Theatre. Regional credits include: The Who's Tommy (Captain Walker), Sweeney Todd (Anthony Hope), Titanic: The Musical (Frederick Barrett), and Parade (Britt Craig). Joel was also featured as the lead role in the new musical 'Not Wanted on the Voyage' (Dr. Noyes), as apart of the Goodspeed Opera House's New Artist Festival in 2012. Joel has recently moved to New York and is humbled and honored to be a part of this NYMF competition. Thank you to my friends, family, and my incredible fiancé, Alexandra for all of their love and support.

Vince Pesce Assumes Role of Director/Choreographer for Goodspeed's SOMETHING'S AFOOT

Due to a critical illness in her family, Casey Husion has withdrawn from directing Something's Afoot at the Goodspeed Opera House. Vince Pesce, originally choreographer of the production, will now also direct the show. During the planning process, Ms. Hushion, who conceived this production, worked closely with Mr. Pesce as she consulted with the authors, chose the creative team and cast the show. Everyone in the Goodspeed family wishes the best to Ms. Hushion and her family while we welcome Mr. Pesce as director.

NoHo Arts Center Ensemble Opens World Premiere of THE RED ROOM Tonight, 9/28

The multi-award-winning NoHo Arts Center Ensemble (NoHo ACE) presents a world premiere play, THE RED ROOM, written by former WGA President Christopher Knopf and directed by NoHo Arts Center Artistic Director James J. Mellon. THE RED ROOM opens tonight, Friday, September 28 at 8pm and will run for six weeks through Sunday, October 28 at the NoHo Arts Center, 11136 Magnolia Blvd. (at Lankershim) in North Hollywood.

Milwaukee Rep Presents ASSASSINS, Now thru 10/7

Assassins will be directed at The Milwaukee Rep by Artistic Director Mark Clements. This will be the third musical he has directed since he began his tenure at The Rep following last season's hit Next to Normal and Cabaret from his first season. With the selection of Assassins for the 2012/13 Season, Milwaukee Repertory Theater shows its commitment to continuing to produce full-scale musicals as part of its repertoire. Clements has assembled a top-notch cast for this production featuring many performers with extensive Broadway credits. Assassins runs in the Quadracci Powerhouse from tonight, September 4 - October 7, and opens on Friday, September 7.
