Citizens Theatre Announces Spring 2017 Productions

?In association with the Citizens Theatre, joint Artistic Director of Vox Motus Candice Edmunds presents a new adaptation of August Strindberg's Dance of Death in the Citizens Theatre's Circle Studio next month from 22 April. Adapted by Frances Poet, designed by Graham McLaren and starring Tam Dean Burn, Lucianne McEvoy  and Andy Clarke, Dance of Death brings together some of the best creative talent in Scottish theatre.

59E59 Theaters has announced the lineup of shows for the 2016/2017 5A Season. A 5A Season Subscription is available for $175 (during previews) or $245(post-opening) and includes a ticket to each show in the season as well as a 59E59 Membership (a $59.59 value). Subscriptions to the 5A Season go on sale on Monday, March 7 at Noon. Single tickets are $70 ($49 for 59E59 Members). Single tickets for the 5A Season are available to 59E59 Members during a special Member Pre-Sale beginning on Monday, May 2 at Noon. Single tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, May 9 at Noon. Today Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein announced his plans for the upcoming season: "I am thrilled to present Keen's 16th season. This season, we will present two very different plays in uniquely different styles, each of which makes us contemplate fundamental questions about identity. In the fall, I will direct Giles Havergal's wonderfully theatrical adaptation of Graham Greene 's comedic novel Travels With My Aunt and I am thrilled to welcome back Thomas Jay Ryan, with whom I collaborated with on The Temperamentals, as well as Daniel Jenkins, a Keen alum I have always wanted to work with.

On the day that rehearsals commence for its forthcoming production of Travels with My Aunt, the Menier Chocolate Factory is delighted to announce that Iain Mitchell and Gregory Gudgeon will be joining the previously confirmed cast members, David Bamber and Jonathan Hyde. Adapted for the stage by Giles Havergal and directed by Christopher Luscombe, the production has a strictly limited 8 week season, 2nd May to 29th June.
